How it works

The output uses schema.org types for trades, such as HVACBusiness and Plumber, with a PostalAddress and OpeningHoursSpecification. Days with the same hours are grouped. After adding it to your site, check the page with Google’s Rich Results Test. Make sure the details match your Google Business Profile and your website exactly.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I put the JSON-LD?

In a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag on your website, usually on the home or contact page. Many website builders have a field for custom code in the page header.

Does schema markup guarantee rich results?

No. It helps search engines understand your business, but whether anything special appears in results is up to the search engine. Test your page with Google's Rich Results Test after adding it.
